Behemoth from Skydance and Alien: Rogue Incursion from Survios are two of the most anticipated VR games coming in 2024, and both are headed for release on Quest, PSVR 2, and PC VR. And now we know when we’ll first be able to get our hands on them.

Behemoth Release Date on Quest

Starting off with Behemoth, the highly anticipated VR title from Skydance Interactive is set to debut on November 14, 2024, on Quest. Although the game is also planned for release on PSVR 2 and PC VR, release dates for those platforms have not yet been confirmed and may come at a later date.

Skydance, the studio behind the critically acclaimed The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, has shown Behemoth to have a dark fantasy setting with intense combat mechanics.

Alien: Rogue Incursion Release Date

Next up is Alien: Rogue Incursion, which is now set to launch on December 19, 2024, simultaneously on PSVR 2, PC VR, and, among Quest headsets, exclusively on Quest 3.

The game is being developed by Survios, a longtime VR studio known for their work on Creed: Rise to Glory and The Walking Dead Onslaught, and a range of other early VR titles.

Alien: Rogue Incursion promises to immerse players in the terrifying world of the Alien franchise, and the recent pre-order and release date trailer shows us a clear look at the game’s shooting gameplay and Xenomorph enemies.

Bonus – Batman: Arkham Shadows Release Window

One more game on our list of the most anticipated VR games of 2024, Batman: Arkham Shadow, doesn’t have an exact release date yet. But this week we got a pretty specific release window: October 2024.

Hmm, can't spin anything here to an anti-Valve rant, moving on.

But I do have a cult following, everyone please note.

And I have sex with real women. Honest.

  • Looking forward to these.

Me too … although I have problems trying the games at the speed they coming out. I have at least 20 games installed that I really need to try … where do people get the time to do all that stuff? I guess AW2 alone would take me weeks to get anywhere…

Alien will look awesome on PSVR2 with OLED and HDR (+ the haptics) and piss poor on the sorry ass LCD quests which are a cancer to VR.

That cancer, sadly, seems to also spread to the overall graphical fidelity of BOTH titles having to take Quest's ridiculously low power (For VIRTUAL REALITY OF ALL THINGS LMAO) into account.

The alien game will be worth it on PSVR2 for the atmosphere alone, but I'll hold on out Behemoth until reviews/sales because it looks a little too questified to me (which often extends to depth/gameplay as well as graphics).

i'll wait for valve deckard rather than play it on pee's vr2

Fresnel is horrible. OLED is completely ruined by it. That is ancient tech.

      • molasar

OLED does not create enough brightness for combining pancake lenses with it.

        • Ondrej

Wasn't there a new breakthrough in pancakes that saves a lot of light?

          • molasar

Pancakes block light. Thus observed display through them is dim than without them. OLED brightness can’t overcome it.

          • Arno van Wingerde

It is a problem, but do not make it sound like an "absolute law of nature" thing.
AVP has OLED + lenses, proving you wrong … although it is fair to have doubts about the current price point!

          • molasar

No such things as laws of nature. There are only properties of our reality, i.e., variables and relations between variables.
And no, you are incorrect. AVP uses Micro OLED technology which is not the same as OLED. The former is brighter than the latter. That is why it can be used with pancake lenses effectively.

    • NL_VR

You dont know what you talk about and have no idea what Quest is capable of. Questified is a stupid term often used by ignorant people.

  • All of these look like amazing games

  • Nick

absolutely can't wait for Alien ! Behemoth not having a psvr2 or pcvr date is Liberace levels of gay …

I just don't feel there is enough diversity in Alien: Rogue Incursion i don't feel represented or that it targets a modern audience for inclusion. From what i hear it don't even have preferred-pronouns and is clearly pandering to the far-right.

I will not be buying this niche game in this niche market. But if a friend lends me it i will try it like a do with most things i consume.

The devs should hang their heads in shame. All investment should be stopped it has such a low score for a modern audience.

    • Arno van Wingerde

I hope you are joking… I do not like the far right.
OTOH, I also am no fan of the rather forced forms of diversity inclusivity the MUST be included or people are fascists etc. Whether investments should be stopped is probably up to the company, or do you consider what they are doing illegal and if so: what is it they are doing?
