NVIDIA’s forthcoming GTC Conference runs April 4-7 and is going to be dominated by the topic of virtual reality – with a dedicated session track and VR Village with the latest and greatest demos. What’s more, if you’re an entrepreneur or developer, trying to get into the VR business, NVIDIA opened registrations for its ‘ECS VR Showcase’. With the winning entry receiving $30,000 in cash and prizes, the event is designed to highlight and reward the brightest up and coming talents in the VR industry.
Virtual Reality is the hot topic in tech right now, and with many innovators clambering over themselves to get to the next great idea in immersive technology first, any financial or PR boost an entrepreneur can get is welcome.
If you’re one of those entrepreneurs, NVIDIA wants to give you the spotlight and a cool $30,000 in cash and prizes if your VR project can cut it. The ECS VR Showcase is an opportunity for eight teams to present their innovative work. After which, each team will be quizzed by Jeff Herbst, VP of business development at NVIDIA, and Mark Rein, VP and co-founder of Epic Games, the latter of which will also act as host of the event.
The winning team will be announced that evening, and will take home $30,000 in cash and prizes.
