There’s nothing that says virtual reality quite like a taco.

That’s apparently why PlayStation and Taco Bell are teaming up to give away 3,360 PlayStation VR headsets between now and October 19th.

There’s three ways to get a chance at winning your own PSVR:

  1. Go to Taco Bell and buy a specially marked ‘Big Box’
  2. Mail in a request for entry
  3. Get an online entry from this site (only between October 5th and October 19th)

All methods will result in a code which you can enter on the official contest page to find out if you’ve won. The giveaway is restricted to the United States and you can find the official rules here.

Meanwhile, the company is running the pop-up Taco Bell VR Arcade in New York City this Thursday and Friday (September 15th & 16th) from 11AM to 5PM at 79 Greene St., featuring—you guessed it!—PSVR.

PlayStation VR launches on October 13th starting at $399 for the ‘Core’ headset package, and $499 for the Launch Bundle.

Damn, I’m getting hungry…. Sadly we don’t even have a Taco Bell here in the Netherlands (but an announcement was made there will be some stores soon, but nothing was said when and where)..

You’re not missing anything. Taco Bell food is notoriously bad, it’s cheap, nasty and there’s been far too many cases in the US of “added” ingredients making it into the taco. Personally, I’d strongly recommend you stick to the local taco bars!

Well, when I was in the states back in ’97 I really LOVED Taco Bell (LA), it was soooooo tasty, hated Del Taco which had beans in them ugh..
To be honest, as long as I think it tastes good, I really don’t care what in it.. hehe.. We don’t really have good taco bars here where I live, and most have beans in the taco’s, YUUUUUUKKK.. But it’s almost been 20 years that I had Taco Bell, so they may have changed the ‘recipe’, LOL..
