‘Ace Combat 7’ Announcement Trailer, Coming as PlayStation VR Exclusive – Breaking

2

Ace Combat 7, the next installment of Namco Bandai’s fighter jet combat franchise is coming exclusively to PlayStation VR.

With the last Ace Combat game, Infinity (2014), being launched on PlayStation 3, Ace Combat 7 represents the franchise’s first jump to next-gen gaming, and they’re going all in by making the game exclusive to PlayStation VR.

Announced at the PlayStation Experience keynote today, Ace Combat 7 is developed by Bandai Namco and built on Unreal Engine 4.

While the game should almost certainly include some cockpit combat, the announcement trailer (above) almost looks like to be setting up the possibility to have some falling-and-dodging style gameplay in the style of Aaaaaculus!.
