EVE Fanfest begins today and promises to be another promising event for VR enthusiasts. To that end, CCP are reaffirming their longstanding support for virtual reality with a welcome keynote entitled “Welcome to Fanfest & the Future of VR” and you can watch it live, right here.

CCP have been on board the latest evolution of virtual reality technology from the early days. Their initial experimental ‘dip’ into the virtual realm, resulted in a flagship VR product which is soon to grace both Oculus’ and Sony’s VR headsets. Precisely what CCP are planning to talk about at CCP in terms of VR is as yet unknown, however it’s unlikely the storm created by Valve and HTC at GDC 2015 with their Vive headset and Lighthouse tracking system has passed CCP by.
