Samsung is relaunching its free GearVR offer, when you buy any of its new Galaxy S7 line and this time, you’ll also receive an additional Oculus Content Experience.
With the release of its Galaxy S7 line in February, Samsung marked the occasion and its commitment to the mobile VR scene by offering 300,000 free GearVR headsets on a first come, first served basis to those pre-ordering an S7 phone.
Now, Samsung have brought the offer back but they’ve expanded the eligibility to all phones in their current range. That means if you’re in the market for a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6, or Galaxy Note5 you’re in luck, as a purchase of any will qualify you to claim your free GearVR and Oculus content experience.
The offer is billed as a Father’s Day promotion, and starts today, running until June 19th. You can buy the phone from Samsung direct or one of their participating retailers, listed here. We snapped a copy of the procedure below for your convenience.
We’re still waiting to find out what the Oculus Content Experience actually comprises, but the offer is worth taking up regardless in our humble opinion, anything extra is probably just a nice bonus.
