New Packaging, Now with Handy Handle

The latest Vives are also shipping with redesigned packaging that’s more compact and designed with a handle for easy transport.

Compared to the original packaging, the latest box smartly intertwines the controllers closely together and generally removes the copious foam of the original to bring all the components closer together. The link box and the system’s many cables and adapters are hidden away under the main components, while a large pocket attached to the top of the lid holds instructions for setup at the ready.

This time around, the lid can be securely closed with a top flap that has protrusions that insert into the sides of the box, and the whole thing is essentially one single piece, whereas the original separated into a top and bottom half. The top of the new box has a handy plastic handle which will surely be a blessing to those who end up toting this high-tech package to and fro.
