We got our hands on Alien Trap’s HTC Vive multi-player sandbox physics title at Unity’s Vision VR/AR Summit last week and loved its playful encouragement to create and destroy. Now, this latest video shows the developer’s tests with mind-bending portals.
What could make a promising physics-based, sandbox party game like Modbox even better? Alien Trap clearly thinks the answer is: Throw dimension-warping portals into the mix. This latest video demonstrates Alien Trap’s experiments with warping windows, and as fun as it looks on a flat screen monitor, can imagine this being insane in VR and on another level when you throw your friends into the mix (or indeed through those portals).
