VirtuaView, the promising Multiplayer Virtual Cinema and Meeting project, is coming to the end of it’s IndieGogo campaign. Its author Christer-Andre Fagerslett (aka Namielus) has released a new video highlighting the project’s potential.
We looked at VirtuaView back in June at the launch of its IndieGogo campaign and were suitably impressed. The campaign now only has 7 days left to run, so if you like what you see get over to the project’s page now and back it.
Back the Virtua View Indiegogo Now!
IndieGogo differs from Kickstarter in that it offers a campaign which can still be ‘funded’ even if the defined goal is not met. This is the case for VirtuaView. So, although Namielus is some way short of achieving his total – every dollar given to the campaign will help him complete development of his project.
The new video features sneak peaks at 3D facial capture technologies to put realistic avatars in the world as well as more footage of the arcade hall from the VirtualLounge stretch goal.
We can’t wait to see more of VirtuaView in the coming months.
