Samsung's Gear VR 'Innovator Edition' Headset

At CES 2015, Oculus said that the Samsung Gear VR mobile headset would begin its international rollout before the month’s end. True to their word, the headset has become available for purchase in three European countries and is up for pre-order in one more.

Samsung’s Gear VR headset, which is “powered” by Oculus, launched in the US on December 8th. The international community was equally excited about the impressive mobile VR headset, but didn’t have an officially sanctioned way to buy the device with certainty that it would be compatible with sometimes region and carrier specific smartphones. Now, the international rollout has begun, starting with the following EU territories:

We’re hoping to see this rollout continue quickly throughout Europe and to the rest of the world. Remember, Gear VR is only compatible with Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4.
