palmer luckey ces 2013 interview

Here’s another interview from CES 2013 with details on the Oculus Rift head mounted display / VR headset. Again, we’ve heard most of it already, but if you’re like me you’re soaking up every scrap of info you can. In this interview Palmer Luckey, the creator of the Oculus Rift, talks to his long-time virtual friend Neil Schneider for the first time in person.

Neil is the admin of the MTBS3D forums — the veritable stomping grounds of the Oculus Rift project. Luckey is a long time moderator at MTBS3D and says he checks the forum every day. The two finally met in person last week at CES 2013 after having known each other virtually for quite some time!

In addition to the video below, check out my brief interview with Palmer Luckey back in October where we learn a bit more about Luckey’s life.
