The official Team Coco app, which has previously offered up 360-degree Conan clips and behind-the-scenes footage from late night host Conan O’Brien, has added VR support for their 360 videos for Google Cardboard and other smartphone VR viewers.
Compatible iOS or Android smartphones can download the Team Coco App already and watch a number of clips from Conan in 360-degrees. The VR Cardboard function is deployed as of the app’s latest update and is backwards compatible with previous Conan360 videos. The app will feature special coverage of Comic-Con by host Conan O’Brien, taking place July 9-12th.
It’s unclear if 360 footage from Conan will continue to be captured in monoscopic, or if the project will be upgrading to stereoscopic 360 for the benefit of VR users. Some of the spherical content has also been released by Conan for PC viewing.

For those currently without a Google Cardboard or a variant offered from a number of sellers, the late night talk show will also be giving away a number of limited Conan360° branded Cardboard headsets. You can request one of the VR smartphone adapters on the Team Coco webpage.
Regional restrictions apply to the app, with full access available only to US-based IP addresses.
