Loading Human, a ambitious made-for-VR adventure game, in development for the Oculus Rift have announced it’s on its way to Sony’s Project Morpheus too.

London based Untold GamesLoading Human is a game with high ideals when it comes to VR. Not content with merely ‘making stuff 3D’ and then slapping their game idea into a headset, they’ve been intent on tackling problems inherent in VR, primarily input mechanics, since before their Kickstarter success last year. Back then, the game was being built exclusively for the Oculus Rift headset.

Publisher Maximum Games has now announced that the game will now also release on Sony’s Playstation 4 VR platform, Project Morpheus – around Spring 2016, right around the time Morpheus is currently estimated to ship.

“This game is a significant step in the world of virtual reality,” said Christina Seelye, CEO of Maximum Games. “In Loading Human, players are completely immersed in a beautiful alternate world, interacting with the environments around them, and allowing the story to unfold by the actions they take.”

Untold Games will also be at E3 demoing the latest version of Loading Human, although it’s not yet clear if they’ll have a Morpheus version to try out.

We’re in LA for E3 2015 all week and we’ll catch up with the folks at Untold Games during the show.

Based in the UK, Paul has been immersed in interactive entertainment for the best part of 27 years and has followed advances in gaming with a passionate fervour. His obsession with graphical fidelity over the years has had him branded a ‘graphics whore’ (which he views as the highest compliment) more than once and he holds a particular candle for the dream of the ultimate immersive gaming experience. Having followed and been disappointed by the original VR explosion of the 90s, he then founded RiftVR.com to follow the new and exciting prospect of the rebirth of VR in products like the Oculus Rift. Paul joined forces with Ben to help build the new Road to VR in preparation for what he sees as VR’s coming of age over the next few years.
