The VRLA Summer 2016 Expo is upon us and the organization has announced it will be keynoted by comedian, musician, and performer Reggie Watts who has been an active participant in VR as a growing medium.

In addition to Watts’ keynote, VRLA says Summer Expo 2016 will be host to “the world’s first VR Rave, presented by Skullcandy… in collaboration with The Wave, Phasespace, SubPac, 3D Live, and WeLens, attendees will be able to experience DJs mixing live music inside VR.”

VRLA says the event will also feature more than 100 VR and AR exhibitors, among them HTC, GoPro, Google, Dolby, Deluxe, Envelop VR, MSI, Technicolor, Boost VC, Otoy, and Nokia. A full list of exhibitors can be seen here.

VRLA’s parent organization, The Virtual Reality Foundation, also hosts the annual Proto Awards, an award event recognizing the best VR experiences.
