Tyler Hurd, creator of the infamous BUTTS: The VR Experience, is working on a new project in collaboration with VR production studio WEVR, Road to VR has learned.
Hurd cut his teeth for 9 years as an animator at Double Fine Productions. After setting out into the world of freelancing, he created the whimsical BUTTS: The VR Experience, which will surely go down in history as being one of the most incredible virtual reality experiences ever produced.

Now Road to VR has learned that Hurd’s next project will be a virtual reality music video created in collaboration with VR production studio WEVR.
Hurd calls the forthcoming experience, “An overwhelmingly happy 360 degree parade dance party full of bright colors, fun stylized characters, eccentric silly dancing in a dynamic changing environment with you in the center of the craziness,” and says it will be similar in style to BUTTS.
WEVR is behind several well regarded VR experiences including theBlu: Encounter, one of the first experiences revealed for the HTC Vive headset.
